It was more than a month now since I signed up with Ad.ly to make money online with Twitter.

What is Twitter?

Twitter is a real-time short messaging service.

Twitter is an online community and a sort of micro-blogging site where you can write short messages to stay connected with friends, relatives and coworkers. It is easy to follow the messages in Twitter because you are only allowed to write 140 characters.

In Twitter, anyone can follow you and you can follow anyone.

What is Ad.ly?

Ad.ly is an in-stream advertising platform connecting Twitter publishers with Twitter advertisers.

I suggested that you try to make money online with Twitter on my last blog entry. I just realized that you probably do not have a Twitter account yet. So, before you can make money online with Twitter, you need to have a Twitter account first.

I know that blogging or problogging is not the only way to make money online. I heard about making money online with Twitter too but did not really pay attention to it.

Now, I am experimenting and exploring the possibility of making money online with Twitter aside from problogging. So I tweeted about it at my problogit Twitter account. I was really surprised because just by simply using the three keywords MAKE MONEY ONLINE, it got me a lot of followers.

Then I followed it with several tweets regarding my reaction to what happened and also tweeted that I got 12 followers in 17 minutes. It did not stop there. I thought that they followed me today but then they will also be gone tomorrow. I even tweeted that as well. And yet, my followers kept increasing. Not only that, even my personal Twitter account is getting a lot of followers too.

Blogging especially problogging is not an easy task. When I started this blog I did not really have high expectations to earn from this blog but I knew that I can definitely earn from the other blogs. I started this blog to document my experiences in problogging and to share those experiences with you.

When I wrote my third blog entry here about planning and starting a blog, I already thought of an alternative to make money problogging in case earning from this blog would take long.

I already knew then that I can make use of my other sites and blogs to make money online. I just need to improve and update my sites and blogs regularly.

I asked myself this question so many times, “Can Bing and Yahoo! really compete with Google?” So I documented something last night.

Ok, ok, this morning, at past 2 o’clock in the morning. 🙂

I have to admit, I slept late las night, I mean morning already. I wrote a blog entry for my personal blog and posted it at 11:53pm, just before midnight. Then I finished reading and scanning other blogs that I am subscribed to. I have a habit to read everything before I sleep. It took me a while though to finish reading and scanning them.

Then before I went to bed, I thought of checking the top 3 search engines if the blog entry, Mount Gurten, Wabern, Bern, Switzerland Day Trip, that I posted at my personal blog got indexed. I typed the keywords “mount gurten” in Google, Bing and Yahoo!, and what did I find?
